1. When and by whom was the Ace Tennis academy founded?
    Mr. Pramesh Modi founded Ace Tennis Academy in February 05,1998
  2. What was the inspiration behind setting up this academy?
    ACE was found with an aim to have Gujarat’s Presence National and International Map.
    In 80s and early 90s Gujarat did not have any proper dedicated training centres and this inspired Modi to set up ACE.
  3. Can you tell us about the infrastructure of the academy?
    ACE is self funded and solely run Academy, with an decent set up of 6 Floodlit Courts and 3 non lighted Courts.
  4. What are the special features/highlights of Ace tennis academy that makes it stand out from the other academies in India?
    Ace is ONE Man decision Academy. Here all the Coaches are dedicated and devoted to the Sport, here Tennis is not just a Sport it’s Religion for us. We have very good ratio of Student and Coach. Very good personal Care is given to all. Emphasis is laid on perfect atmosphere and environment to play and learn for all age groups from 4 years onwards.

  6. What sort of an attitude do you look for in your students/aspirants?
    We develop interest in every person coming to play with personal care and driving them to do and give their best. We look into a player the Instinct and determination.

    1. How many coaches work for your academy? 13 Coaches
    2. Roughly how many children enroll every year? 160 all the year Round
    3. Male/Female students’ ratio? Almost equal, we have 65 Gentlemen of 30 plus age group and 25 Ladies of 25 plus age group playing all the year round
  8. Can you tell us about the mode of training in a typical beginner’s session?
    Giving an idea of what is Tennis and right away on Courts with dropping and feeding balls and then with Racket feeding.
  9. Are there any scholarships available for deserving students?
    Yes ACE has Scholarships for deserving and Aspirant Players with less of Financial Backing and also for talented players who look to develop Tennis as a Career.
  10. What do you think are the essential qualities for an ideal coach?
    Tennis should be Passion for The Coach not merely a Business Opportunity and should be dedicated and devoted towards Sport, should have Patience and get upgraded regularly.
  11. Are the students exposed to national and international tournaments as a part of their training module?
    Absolutely, we take them allover India and Abroad for Tournaments and Coach Travels with them.

    Vaidik Munshaw Suraj Desai, Harshvardhan Thirani, Saadgi Rajani, Allan Gomes, Aarjav Hansoti, Rishabh Parikh, Shangril Shah and many more have International and National Good Performances
  13. What are the future plans for your academy?
    To train players to become World Class Performers and regularly make a mark at International and National scenario. To give Grand Slam Winners every year from 2013
  14. What is your personal message to tennis aspirants?
    Take Tennis Seriously and sincerely it will give you Confidence, Staisfaction, Great Health and recognition – money will follow.
