Program for players
Ace Tennis Academy is implementing New Systems and policies for all the Players. One of the new implementations will be of dividing Students in different Categories.
1. Advanced 2. Intermediate 3. Budding
These Categories are irrespective of Group lessons or special Coaching, the players in their batch will be of their Level and Category. This will be giving them competitiveness and inspiration. We at Ace understand the Sport and student very well, we give the best of everything and hence have been successful in giving best results over all these 14 years.
Parents and players need to keep patience and have faith in the Child and the Coach, Tennis Results need patience as it is combination of many things.
How We Categorise?
Advanced Group players are who can play Tournaments but somehow just want to play for more than recreation, Tennis is 2nd Priority.
Intermediate Group players can hit all the strokes. They are getting ready for Tournaments.
Budding Players Group – they are learning the Strokes and understanding the Game. Next they will be in Intermediate Group,
All these Groups shall have a Fixed program, Fixed Coach, Fitness Regime and a Time Schedule.
The selection of Players for every Group will be done by the Coach, according to Game, Inclination and Physical ability.
The students and players can come for one session and as per the Batch Timings only, if want to play twice in a Day pay extra.
All required to Follow Timings strictly.
All the players need to get extra T- shirt or an Sweat shirt, Skipping Rope, Normal drinking water, Towel / Napkin. This will be checked daily and on 3rd warning the player will not be let to play.
They need to be 15 mins prior to the session and warm up immediately, which will be told on first session from July 01, 2010, which needs to be followed and also cooling down exercise will be shown that needs to be done strictly, failing to do so on 3rd warning they will be punished along with the parents, as the Parent need not take the Child if the child has not done Cool down exercise. This is very Important.
Everyday different Stroke will be taken and Saturdays there will be Match Practice which will be Scored and every month aTournament will be played which will give the ACE Ranking as per the Age Group.
Coaches can be met only on Saturdays.
PMsir can be met between 3.00pm to 3.30pm on all week days and on Sundays between 7.30am to 8.00am
There shall not be any extension of Fees. (Parents or players can pay weekly or 3 monthly fees if they are expecting any break.)
There will be a proper counseling and clear understanding before implementing the program so that there is ill feeling.
The Students taking up Private lessons/Sessions will be given a Separate Schedule and will be as per the Talent of the Player. Even the number of sessions to be taken will determine the outcome.
The Special Coaching and Private Lessons will be taken up on Saturdays and Sundays also. But to be booked up in advance and pay extra.

First 10 Mins hitting G/S from mini court
Next 20 Mins Ground strokes Drill
Next 15 Mins G/S from Mid Court
Next 10 Mins Rallying with points
5-10 Mins Doubles or Singles Game with G/S Specific
Tuesday (Volleying)
First 10 Mins hitting G/S & Volleying from mini court
Next 20 Mins Volleying Drill
Next 20 Mins Mid Court G/S and approach net and volleying the ball
Last 10 Mins Points with Volleying specific
Wednesday (Drive Volley & Smash)
First 10 Mins Mini Court G/S & Volleying
Next 30 Mins Drive Volleying & aggressive tactic
Next 20 Mins Smash Practice
If time permits Doubles or Points Practice
Thursday (Serves & Return of Serves)
First 10 Mins Service & Return warmup
Next 30 Mins Service and Return of Serve Practice on Rotation basis of 6 players
Next 20 Mins Full court Singles Points Practice
Friday (Specific Stroke with Aggressiveness)
On Fridays there will be a specific Stroke taken by a coach and will be dealt with Tactical / Strategically e.g how to open up court with G/S, what to do against net rusher, how to handle running shots or how and when to use drop shot, slice etc Also once in a month Cardio Tennis.
Saturday (Set Practice/ Team / Fun Games)
This will develop team spirit and bonding amongst players, they will learn to develop the spirit of accepting Victories and Defeats.
This schedule is drafted considering all the aspects in mind and after lots of thinking. It will be changed/ modified after some weeks once that group has achieved the purpose.
The time is of on court playing duration, they have to be in campus 15 mins prior and also cool down before leaving the Campus.
After or before coaching fitness is must for 45 mins.
